Observation Details
ECTN 23. Failure 10-15cm from surface, halfway through new snow layer. Collapsing/cracks shooting from skis in this outer most layer in convex areas on slopes 35° or greater. Drifting snow beginning to deposit.
From surface to base- 4f, p, 1f. MFCR between December and January layer. 120cm snow depth with patchy areas that were likely bare prior to Feb 3 storm.

Good adhesion between new snow, existing January snow, and December snow. December snow heavily faceted 15-30cm in depth at base, January snow rounding nicely, new snow settling.MFCR interfacing each layer. Total snowpack depth: 105cm
