Sunday March 5, Upper Wolfjaw Wide slide, 2968’, N aspect, 28 deg slope angle
Mostly cloudy with light winds, no precipitation. We dug a pit at 2968’ below the steeper section underneath the headwall (covered in ice). 109cm of snow at the site of our pit, multiple ice layers within the pack.

Facets to thin ice crust at depth of 74cm
Facets to ground, 3-4mm in size
