Observation Details

We were prepared for a lot of different situations and hoped for some ok snow, but found the entire slide to be wind scoured. It skied a punchy grabby crust with sparse pockets of wind deposited snow. The damage from the rain was apparent from the trailhead to the top of the slide. We ducked into the woods at aprox 2400 feet after summiting and skiing back down, the wooded area skied much nicer.
