Observation Details

Previously unconsolidated snow seems to be forming a more cohesive slab/wind skin in some areas across the slides. Noticed some cracks shooting out underfoot on the skin track. Nothing exceptional, though I could imagine a large pocket releasing under the right conditions. Found these conditions on both the old and new wide slides. Skiing was ok, but still beware of the possibility and consequence of a fall in low tide and with very slick, hard ice underneath you.
